A soft blue voile cotton saree featuring the Great Indian Bustard, one of India's most endangered birds, brought to life through handblock printing.
Part of our Endangered Edit, this saree has been printed by hand at Bagru using azo-free dyes. The understated blue base allows the bold bird motifs in a vibrant pink to take centre stage, creating a statement saree that remains easy to wear.
The Endangered Edit draws attention to India’s threatened wildlife through textile design, with each piece produced in limited quantities.
WASH CARE
Dry cleaning is preferred, especially for the first wash. Can hand wash at home using gentle detergent. Do not scrub. Dry in shade.
ABOUT
Our Bagru sarees are handblock printed in the town of Bagru, Rajasthan. Every saree is printed by hand using carved wooden blocks and either azo-free or natural dyes, on natural fibers. The Endangered Edit is a collection inspired by India's endangered wildlife.
